TT Gaskets has published its verified Sustainability Report 2025, continuing its commitment to transparent, measurable, and long-term sustainability work.
The new report follows TT Gaskets’ first verified sustainability report, published last year using the Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for non-listed SMEs (VSME). The 2025 report is also compiled based on both the Basic and Comprehensive Modules of the VSME standard, offering a clear overview of the company’s sustainability performance across environmental, social, and governance topics.
This year’s report also includes comparable figures from 2024, making it possible to follow TT Gaskets’ development year by year.
For TT Gaskets, 2025 was another important step in its sustainability journey. The company started the year as the world’s first carbon neutral gasket factory for Scope 1 and 2 emissions, achieved through long-term investments in energy efficiency, 100% carbon-free energy, geothermal heating, fleet electrification, and systematic production improvements.
One of the key messages of the 2025 report is the external recognition TT Gaskets received for its sustainability work. During the year, the company achieved the EcoVadis Gold rating, received international sustainability recognition from AGCO, and was honored with a commendation within the international chemical industry network. TT Gaskets’ efforts were also featured in a sustainability booklet highlighting how responsible actions shape future-proof family businesses.
Another major highlight was TT Gaskets’ participation in a climate program organized by the Finland Chamber of Commerce. The program helped the company strengthen its understanding of climate impacts across the value chain. With the training and support provided, TT Gaskets was able to calculate its value chain emissions, Scope 3, for the first time.
TT Gaskets also continued to develop its operations through investments that support both competitiveness and sustainability. In 2025, the company commissioned a new automated laser cutting line at its Tampere facility, improving productivity, quality, material efficiency, and energy efficiency.
According to Aleksi Arpiainen, CEO of TT Gaskets:
“At TT Gaskets, sustainability means responsibility, resilience and renewal. We are committed to leaving a lighter industrial footprint than the one we inherited.”
Looking ahead, TT Gaskets will continue advancing its Scope 3 calculations, strengthening supplier emission data collection, and working toward its goal of delivering customer offers containing verified product-level emission data.
The verified Sustainability Report 2025 is now available on TT Gaskets’ website.
