TT Gaskets had the pleasure of welcoming Peter Ericson, Ambassador of Sweden to Finland, together with a delegation of Swedish Honorary Consuls, to our facilities in Tampere.

The visit provided an opportunity to discuss Tampere’s strong industrial heritage and its remarkable ability to continuously renew and innovate. We also shared TT Gaskets’ journey from its roots in the 1940s to the future of industrial sealing.
This journey continues through investments in people, technology and digitalisation, as well as the development of Smart Gaskets and intelligent solutions that help make industries safer, more reliable and more sustainable.
The discussions also addressed a subject especially important to TT Gaskets as a family-owned company: the potential of family entrepreneurship to serve as a true force for good.
Long-term ownership involves much more than financial capital. By combining financial, social, reputational and knowledge capital—referred to as polycapital—and collaborating with companies, universities, cities and other partners, family businesses can contribute to systemic change, industrial renewal and long-term prosperity for society.

Sweden and Finland are not only important trading partners but also close friends and neighbours. In today’s increasingly volatile and uncertain world, Nordic cooperation—and our ability to build, innovate and succeed together—is more important than ever.
For TT Gaskets, the relationship with Sweden has deep roots. Together with the Netherlands, Sweden was among our first export markets in the 1960s. Since 2016, Sweden has also been home to our subsidiary, TT Gaskets Sweden AB.
The visit offered valuable discussions about industry, innovation, entrepreneurship, long-term ownership and the future. It was also an important reminder of something we strongly believe in:
Believe in the future—but don’t forget to shape it. Together.
We warmly thank Ambassador Peter Ericson and the Swedish Honorary Consuls for visiting TT Gaskets and for the inspiring discussions.
